The Bowman Suite

In the Fall of 2022 the Bowman Suite went through a refurbishment featuring new floors throughout the entire unit, fresh furniture, new curtains, upgraded fixtures, and updated décor. The Bowman Suite is now completely refreshed and ready for your enjoyment! 

The master bedroom features a king bed that can also be configured as two twin beds at your request.  It has an en suite full bathroom, window air conditioner, full closet, tall dresser (in the closet) and small flat screen TV.

The second bedroom features a queen bed, dresser, closet, and an en suite "split bath" with a toilet and sink in one room and a separate shower. The lake can be seen from the window.

The master bedroom has a full on suite bathroom. The second bedroom has a split bathroom with shower and dressing closet separate from the sink and water closet.

In addition to the bedrooms, the Bowman Suite also features a queen sleeper sofa in the living room offering comfortable sleeping for up to six. Pillows and bedding are provided for all of the beds including the sleeper sofa.

The Bowman Suite entry welcomes you with plenty of storage for your coats, shoes, and seat cushions as you enter the open-concept living room with dining area and easy flow into the kitchen.  The dining room features seating for six at the table as well as counter seating for two looking into the kitchen.  The living room offers a large sofa (convertible to a queen-sized bed) comfortable chair, and 50" television.   

The large living room windows offer views looking out on The Amphitheater's rear patio and The Athenaeum Hotel grounds, with glimpses of the lake down the hill. 

The Bowman Suite's private patio looks directly out on the the Amphitheater's rear courtyard beyond which is the main entrance to the historic Athenaeum Hotel.  The patio is framed by a sitting wall and lovely plantings and has a retractable sun awning.  It offers the perfect balance of community and privacy in the heart of the Institution.   

The patio features plenty of seating for guests and their friends with 4 wicker chairs, a wicker loveseat, and side tables.  During the Summer Assembly, relax on the patio and listen to the night's concert, or watch the headliners roll in for their evening performance at the Amp.
