Tenants Must agree to the following terms:
1. To abide by all the rules and regulations of Chautauqua Institution. Please refer to Living in Chautauqua located in the unit.
2. Not to allow pets at the Aldine under any circumstances, including those belonging to guests of the Tenant.
3. To observe the no-smoking policy.
4. To respect the rights of others on the premises by keeping the house quiet after 10 PM through 8 AM, and not to play or practice musical instruments on the premises.
5. Not to sublet the premises without the express written consent of the Owner.
6. Landlord reserves the right to show the property to prospective tenants, or enter the property for maintenance purposes, between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM with 24 hours’ notice to Tenant. In the event of an emergency where the 24-hour standard must be waived, Landlord will immediately call Tenant at the phone number provided above before entering the apartment.
7. During Summer Assembly, Chautauqua Institution gate and parking passes must be purchased separately. It is recommended to purchase gate and parking passes in advance to ease the arrival experience, and so you can receive advance arrival communications from Chautauqua Institution to help better plan your visit.
8. Cancellations made 30 or more days in advance will be refunded 100%, Cancellations made between 29 days and 48 hours prior to check in will be refunded 100% minus a $150 booking fee. No refund will made for cancellations with less than 48hours notice.
9. Prior to check out, Renter is requested to take trash to appropriate bins provided on premises, leave used towels in bathtub, and reset thermostat and or air/conditioners to the settings specified in the unit.
PAYMENT
1. Renter shall provide pay 50% off all rent, fees, taxes, and other charges no later than five days after Owner approves rental request.
2. Renter shall pay the full balance owed no later than 15 days prior to check in.
3. Failure to make payment will result in cancelation of reservations.
Disclaimer:
Renters understand that the Homeowners are not responsible for any personal injury caused by slipping on snow or ice, and that tenants are responsible for the removal of snow and ice around the doorways and paths.
And further that the homeowners are not responsible for any personal injury or loss or damage to tenants’ property caused directly or indirectly from foul, inclement weather conditions, Acts of God or nature, failure of heat, accidents related to fire, heaters, stoves, tenants’ failure to remove snow around access areas, or any unforeseeable circumstances.
Under no circumstances will tenants or their guests hold the owners of the Vacation Rental responsible for any damages or claims of any kind resulting from their stay, except for intentional acts of harm.
This agreement and disclaimer applies to Renters and all guests in the Renters’ party.
I, the Renter, have read, understand, agree to, and will abide by this rental agreement and all conditions stated herein.
THE SUMMER ASSEMBLY
The 9 week summer assembly runs from late June though late August. During this time the suites rent on a weekly basis From Saturday - Saturday. It is important to join our mailing list to secure these rentals as soon as they are released.
SPRING & FALL
From April through November, except during the Summer Assembly weeks, the suites rent nightly with a two night minimum stay
